Kia ora e te whanau, welcome to my website!

My name is Jordan Quinnell and I guess you could say I am an emerging contemporary Māori artist. I grew up in Taranaki, in a small town on the coast called Opunake, and have been living for the past seven years in Palmerston North while I've been at University.

Im currently 24 years old with a Bachelors Degree in Māori Visual Arts, and am currently studying towards my Masters. While I have a love for all mediums, my artistic practice is based mainly in digital illustration and printmaking which I create on Adobe Illustrator.

While studying I have also been fortunate enough to have exhibited my work numerous times at the Taranaki National Art Awards (2015-2018, 2020, 2022) where I have been the recipient of the Te Puni Kokiri Tō Taranakitanga Highly Commended Award three times.
